Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to themoundomenofcthulhu.wiki (the "Site"), a fan-operated reference website for The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu, the cooperative Lovecraftian horror game developed by ACE Team and published by Nacon. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Site.

These Terms apply to all visitors, browsers, and users of the Site. We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the bottom of this page indicates when revisions were last published. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes may be highlighted on the homepage when feasible.

The Site is an unofficial fan wiki. It is not owned, operated, or endorsed by ACE Team, Nacon, or any of their affiliates. Game names, logos, characters, and related assets are trademarks or copyrights of their respective owners. This Site is provided for informational and educational purposes under fair use and fan community norms.

2. Use of the Site

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes to read guides, gameplay information, release details, and community tools related to The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu. You may link to Site pages using standard hyperlinks that do not imply endorsement or misrepresent the relationship between your site and this wiki.

You agree not to: (a) use the Site in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or connected systems; (c) introduce malware, automated scraping at rates that degrade service, or denial-of-service traffic; (d) reproduce substantial portions of the Site for commercial republication without written permission; (e) misrepresent demo-sourced or preview information as official ACE Team or Nacon statements; (f) harass other users through any contact or comment features if such features are enabled in the future.

Interactive tools on the Site, when available, are provided "as is" for planning loadouts and sanity reference. Tool outputs are community-curated estimates and must not be treated as guaranteed in-game behavior. Always verify mechanics in the retail game after the July 15, 2026 launch or applicable demo builds.

3. Content Accuracy and Intellectual Property

Wiki articles may contain information derived from official press materials, developer streams, Steam Next Fest demo observation, and community testing. Game mechanics, balance values, and release details may change before and after launch. We label uncertain preview data where appropriate but do not warrant completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any content.

Original text, layout, and wiki compilation on this Site are protected by copyright belonging to the Site operators unless otherwise noted. User-submitted corrections or contributions, if accepted through future submission channels, may be licensed to the Site under terms disclosed at submission time.

The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu, ACE Team, Nacon, and related marks remain property of their respective owners. H. P. Lovecraft literary works are in the public domain in many jurisdictions; however, specific game adaptations and artwork on this Site belong to their rights holders and are referenced descriptively, not reproduced beyond fair use thumbnails or embeds permitted by third-party platforms such as YouTube.

4. Third-Party Links and Embeds

The Site may link to external websites including Steam, PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, YouTube, and social media accounts related to the game or its publishers. We do not control third-party content and are not responsible for their terms, privacy practices, or availability. Embedded videos are subject to the hosting platform's terms and may be removed by rights holders without notice.

Affiliate or sponsored links, if introduced in the future, will be disclosed in accordance with applicable advertising regulations. As of the initial publication of these Terms, the Site does not sell game keys or accept paid placement for tier list rankings.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SITE OPERATORS AND CONTRIBUTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR RELIANCE ON WIKI CONTENT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. YOUR SOLE REMEDY FOR DISSATISFACTION WITH THE SITE IS TO STOP USING IT.

Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

6. Indemnification, Governing Law, and Contact

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Site operators and contributors from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the Site operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.

For questions about these Terms, contact the Site operator through the contact method published on the homepage footer when available. For official game support, bug reports, or account issues, contact Nacon or ACE Team through their official support channels—not through this fan wiki.
